Meet Arzu and Deniz – the dynamic mother-daughter duo behind Melbourne Wax & Beauty at 304 High Street, Northcote.

After years of working for others in the beauty industry, Arza decided it was time to shine on her own. Together with her daughter Deniz, they opened Melbourne Wax & Beauty earlier this year – and it’s already making waves on the Rise.

Specialising in full body waxing, facials, and body detox treatments (think facials for your back and legs!), Melbourne Wax & Beauty is all about making people feel comfortable, confident and cared for. They also offer lash lifts, brow waxing, and are proud to use natural, skin-loving products from Pure Fiji and Even Skyn.

You’ll also find beautiful soy candles for sale, handmade by refugees from Myanmar – part of their commitment to supporting others through their work.

Walk-ins are welcome, and they’re open Tuesday to Saturday (with late hours on weekdays). Pop in for a treatment or just to say hi – the space is warm, inclusive and welcoming.
