Trader Spotlight: Harvest Wine
Eight years on Northcote Rise and Harvest Wine is still pouring the good stuff.
Since 2017, this family-run bottle shop has been a quiet hero on High Street — slinging rare finds, supporting small producers, and building a loyal local following along the way.
The business was passed on from its previous owner and has only grown stronger, with the current owner Nam Tran and family making it their own. The focus? Craft beer, small-batch wine, and hard-to-find gems you won’t spot at the big chains. Think rotating fridges filled with limited releases and local favourites — like the surprisingly addictive pickle beer (trust us, it works).
Their customer base spans generations — from long-time locals who’ve been dropping in for years, to curious newcomers chasing something fresh. They’ve got a knack for steering people toward something unexpected and delicious.
“We try to support small producers, and the local community supports us back,” they say. “It still feels like a small-town vibe here. Everyone helps each other out.”
That’s what makes Northcote Rise special — a tight-knit, welcoming community with great taste and even better drinks.
