Owned by Cath Hope, who has had the business for 25 years, this shop has a rich history, having been previously located in both the CBD and Fitzroy before settling in Northcote 8 years ago.
Cath curates a beautiful collection by sourcing products during her travels, both locally and overseas. Popular items include Baggu branded and other style bags, artisan mugs and tableware, unique glassware and Turkish towels, as well as the gorgeous cushions and distinctive ceramic pots both designed by Cath.
With a strong focus on sustainability and supporting local makers, Douglas & Hope is not only a place to find beautiful pieces but also a way to support the community. Being a local herself, Cath loves being a part of the Northcote Rise community and bringing a little bit of her creativity to it every day.
