Christmas Comes to Life on Northcote Rise!

The festive season is lighting up Northcote Rise with two fantastic family-friendly events and a special late-night shopping experience to help you get into the Christmas spirit.

🎄 Northcote Central – Saturday 6 December

Bring the family down for a joyful afternoon packed with entertainment, colour and Christmas cheer. Enjoy a special live performance by Nitida & the High Street Mall Rats, meet Santa, his cheerful elves, and Rudolph, and stop by for free face painting. Capture a festive memory with a photo with Santa and soak up the community atmosphere.

✨ High Street Christmas Celebration – Saturday 13 December

The Chalice Stage and all of High Street will come alive with music, movement and magic. Enjoy performances by High Street Bells, Riot Baby, Canisha, and NUC Carols. Kids can have their faces painted by Poppie, while Santa, Rudolph and a troupe of elves, dancing baubles, angels on stilts, and the thrill of Skate Odyssey bring the street to life. It’s a day full of festive fun for all ages.

🛍 Late-Night Shopping – Thursday 11 & 18 December

Heading to the Christmas market? Dont forget to drop in on High Street shops. Some of our wonderful traders will keep their doors open later for a relaxed Christmas shopping experience. Spend over $20 in-store and receive a voucher for a complimentary glass of bubbles, redeemable at participating venues on the night. It’s the perfect way to treat yourself while supporting local businesses.
