Brother Bon Restaurant has got to be one of the best Vegetarian/Vegan Restaurants in town. An amazing array of food from Poutine to vegan Peking duck pancakes!

Bar. Bistro. Deli. Stepping off High Street, the light-filled front bar channels an old European bistro, with brass accents, mirrors and walls painted in a dark shade of pine green. Pasta hangs drying on racks – Zsa’s sous-chef makes fresh gnocchi, cavatelli and fettuccine every morning – and the charcuterie fridge holds ethically produced meats from local smallgoods suppliers including Salt Kitchen and Puopolo Artisan Salumi (think guanciale and smoked pancetta for making proper carbonara), and pates and terrines from City Larder.

What to get:
Dumplings of course! But they also serve amazing rice and noodle dishes.

Although everyone thinks they know where to get the best kebab; we actually KNOW where the best kebab exists south of the equator and that’s Lambs on High Street. On a Friday and Saturday night, there will be lines out the door of hungry patrons ready to sink their teeth into the most succulent kebab of their lives.
